Celebrate a uniquely Canadian tradition
in a distinctively Canadian landscape.
Sweetwater is not your average maple syrup festival – it’s been so much more since 1991!
The Sweetwater Harvest Festival is the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre’s biggest special event of the year – and ONE ticket gets you access to TWO fantastic sites in 2025!
Join the Friends of Wye Marsh and Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons for an awesome maple syrup experience this spring. Tickets on sale February 14, 2025!
At Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, you’ll find an artisan market and lots of historical activities and activations. Restaurant Sainte-Marie will be serving a delicious pancake breakfast, with real maple syrup, of course!
At Wye Marsh, you can wander through the sugar bush to see how sap from maple trees is turned into that delicious liquid gold. Roast bannock on an open fire, listen to an Indigenous storyteller, learn to “jig”, explore the trails, and more.
Last admission is at 2:30pm
