The Kids Fishing Derby is always free of charge for all local children up to and including the age of 16 years.
Registration takes place in the morning at 9:00am at the Town of Midland booth beside the Harbour Office at 165 King Street. Each angler receives free bait, a hot dog, juice box, and all participants receive a prize!
For the 2024 Kids Fishing Derby, we had six bikes donated by our generous sponsors. The event is for fun, catching a fish is a bonus! All local children who register and participate will be entered into the draw to win the donated bikes and a helmet. Participants must be in atte
