While snapping turtles brumate deep in the muck of the marsh – get your fingers busy fashioning “Turtle Nest Protectors” to increase hatchling survival rates this spring.


Designs, tools, materials and guidance provided by Wye Marsh Staff. $35 per kit to be assembled on site by one or more people. (Families welcome.) Space is limited.


Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, 16160 Hwy 12 E, Midland


When: Saturday, January 25th, 2025 from 1:30 – 3:30 pm

About Wye Marsh:

Friends of Wye Marsh is a not-for-profit charitable organization taking care of 3,000 acres of provincially significant wetlands and federal forests in the Heart of Georgian Bay.
