Water Teaching

This immersive experience will guide participants through spiritual, cultural, and ecological significance of water in Indigenous cultures. Participants will learn about the practices that honor water as a life-giving force and a sacred element. The workshop will feature storytelling, guided walk, and a ceremonial water blessing, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world and our shared responsibility to protect it. Whether you are seeking spiritual renewal, ecological awareness, or cultural enrichment, this workshop offers a space to reflect on water’s vital role in sustaining life and community.

About Wye Marsh:

Friends of Wye Marsh is a not-for-profit charitable organization taking care of 3,000 acres of provincially significant wetlands and federal forests in the Heart of Georgian Bay.
