Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, is back for another dynamic FREE interactive gardening workshop. This one offers winterizing tips and tricks to support a vibrant pollinator community next spring!
Highlights include:
Addressing “Bloom Gaps” to create a continuous feast for pollinators spring through to fall,
Tidying up Dos and Dont’s to keep eggs and caterpillars safe over winter,
Seed Collection and Propagation techniques that will let you increase garden’s diversity by swapping seeds with friends, AND
An invitation to become part of the “Homegrown National Park” movement

About Wye Marsh:
Friends of Wye Marsh is a not-for-profit charitable organization taking care of 3,000 acres of provincially significant wetlands and federal forests in the Heart of Georgian Bay. This National Wildlife Area and recognized Important Bird Area (IBA) provides habitat for a number of significant species including provincially Threatened Least Bitterns, Species of Special Concern Black Terns, and the famous Trumpeter Swans
