Windlee Farms
Meet Peter and Anne Lorriman, who have been producing maple syrup since 1992. Located in Tiny Township, the farm is known for its high-quality syrup, which has won numerous awards, including first place at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. The Lorrimans are dedicated to traditional methods, collecting and boiling sap within 24 hours to ensure the best flavor. Book a private tour today!

Williams Farm
Williams Farm, operated by John and Suzanne Williams, has a rich history in maple syrup production. John began making syrup as a teenager and returned to the craft in 2001. The farm, located on 55 acres near the Wye Marsh, features 3400 taps and a modern wood-fired evaporator. Visitors can tour the sugar bush and see the syrup-making process firsthand and browse their variety of maple products.

Brian Scott of Innisfil Creek Honey in Cookstown has transformed his passion for bees into a thriving business. Offering pure, unpasteurized honey, beekeeping supplies, and workshops, he’s dedicated to promoting sustainability and nurturing a love for beekeeping within the community.

Turnview Farms
Paul and Emily Turner of Turnview Farms in Elmvale have spent over 40 years farming with a passion for sustainability and local food. Their farm offers raw honey, hive products, and beekeeping supplies, alongside fresh eggs, baked goods, and high-quality meats. They’re dedicated to supporting the community and nurturing a love for beekeeping.

Meet Bart Nagel, co-founder of Farm2Door and also a garlic farmer. Find Farm2Door in Tiny Township on Balm Beach Road. Purple Hill Lavender Farm
Emma Greasley and her sister, Jessica Ridding, co-founded Purple Hill Lavender Farm in Creemore, Ontario, transforming their family property into a serene lavender retreat. Together, they cultivate six lavender varieties and craft natural, lavender-based products, sharing the soothing beauty of their fields with visitors year-round.

Nicholyn Farms
Nicholyn Farms is a family-owned and operated farm dedicated to providing locally produced, organic, and traditionally raised foods. Shane Van Casteren, the owner of Nicholyn Farms, brings a modern perspective while honouring traditional values. Shane’s dedication to transparency and community engagement has made Nicholyn Farms a trusted source for high-quality, locally produced food.

Trevor Hewitt of Hewitt’s Farm Market in Warminster continues his family’s legacy of farming since 1976. Known for fresh Ontario produce, baked goods, and preserves, Trevor ensures a year-round farm experience with a focus on quality and community connection. You can find their products displayed throughout their 7 locations – yes, 7!

The Farmgate
Bert and Lori Harrington of The FarmGate in Brechin are dedicated to showcasing local craftsmanship and produce. Their farm features Harrington’s Maple Syrup, artisan soaps, and unique wood carvings, all created with care and community spirit. Bert makes the best sauerkraut, available in some local Foodland stores.
Craft Beverage
Simcoe County boasts an impressive array of 28 craft beverage producers, offering a delightful mix of craft beer, wine, cider, and spirits. Let’s meet some of the exceptional producers:

Duntroon Cyder House
Tim Schneider, along with his wife Kimberly, founded Duntroon Cyder House in 2015. The farm is dedicated to sustainability, producing a variety of crops and maintaining eco-friendly practices. Their Net Zero, Carbon-neutral sustainable cider is a testament to their commitment to the environment and a must-try! For their Rhubarb cider, they source rhubarb from just across the road, making it as local as it gets.

Georgian Bay Spirit Co.
Tucked away in the picturesque town of Collingwood, Georgian Bay Spirits Co. was founded by friends Denzil Wadds and Tim Keenleyside in 2013. Their journey began with Georgian Bay Gin, created after a year of experimenting with 48 recipes. Since then, they’ve expanded to award-winning vodka, whisky, and ready-to-drink cocktails which are all proudly crafted in Canada. Available at the LCBO and their distillery shop in Collingwood, their range includes smooth vodka, crisp gin, rich whisky, refreshing canned cocktails and ready-to-pour bar quality cocktails.
