Home to Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival
Midland is home to the award-winning Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival presented by Chapman’s, the original and largest butter tart festival in Canada! Every June, Downtown Midland transforms with over 200 vendors lining the streets, drawing in visitors from all over Ontario and beyond. It’s a great way to explore Midland and discover all of the local flavours the area has to offer. The vendors will sell everything from butter tarts to handcrafted items from local artists. Be sure to pop into the unique downtown shops while attending the festival!

Culture & History Immersed in the Landscape
Midland is home to one of Ontario’s largest outdoor art galleries, featuring over 30 murals and sculptures through the town. History is also on display through these visual stories as well as at the Huronia Museum & Ouendat Village where you can be immersed in the region’s living history.
The Midland Cultural Centre is a thriving hub of arts and culture, home to Quest Art School + Gallery, the Canadian Museum of Water, and Huronia Players Theatre.
