Welcome to New Tecumseth!

New Tecumseth is the southernmost community in Simcoe County—an easy, welcoming stop between the Greater Toronto Area and the heart of Simcoe County. Conveniently located near Highway 400 (with connections to Highways 401 and 407), New Tecumseth is a natural starting point for exploring the region, whether you’re here for a day trip, a weekend, or a festival-filled getaway. Home to three distinct community centres—Alliston, Beeton, and Tottenham—New Tecumseth blends vibrant downtowns and cultural experiences with a surrounding rural landscape rooted in agricultural heritage.

The Tottenham Conservation Area offers a glimpse of our beautiful wildlife and facilities for fishing, camping and your next getaway. The Boyne River runs through the community and the shores are a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon.

Each year, festival season kicks off with the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival, then builds into an unforgettable summer—when our downtowns, parks, and gathering places fill with music, fair traditions, great food, and community pride. Don’t Miss: Alliston Potato Festival, Music in the Park, Alliston Street Festival & The Beeton Fall Fair.
