Snowshoeing

Even if you don’t ski, there are ways to get out into Simcoe County’s snowy paradise. Snowshoeing is an easy, relaxing way to enjoy our trails and forests. All you need are a warm pair of boots, a few layers of warm clothing, and perhaps a daypack filled with snacks. Strap on your snowshoes and enjoy the trails. Choose self-guided trails or a guided tour—either way, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful surroundings, fresh air and invigorating exercise. Snowshoe trails can be found throughout the county, but a few resorts and attractions also specialize in the sport!
