We’ve been waiting a long time for flannel, shacket, and pumpkin-spiced-everything season! But now that we all look so cute, where do we go? What should we do? Well look no further because Simcoe County is the fall destination of choice. 

From vibrant bright canopies to beautiful (and early!) sunsets glimmering across our waterways, and a whole lot of fall fun on the farm activities! In fact, there are so many pumpkin patches, wagon rides, u-pick adventures, and fall festivals, that you might want to stay a night or two to fit it all in. Check out all these fun adventures to get you in the fall festive spirit.


Pumpkin Mania at Rounds Ranch

10am – 5pm Saturdays & Sundays

1922 County Road 92 Elmvale, ON L0L1P0

Celebrate the fall season at Pumpkin Mania! Tractor rides to the pumpkin patch to pick your favourite FREE ANY size, ANY colour pumpkin. Pumpkin bowling, pie eating contest, sack races and more. For the month of October, the Flashlight Corn Maze is also on Saturdays 5pm – 10pm.

Chappell Farms Fall Festival

10am – 5pm, Open Daily until October 31st

Chappell Farms Fall Festival is an amazing place for kids and adults alike! Come visit their animals, run up to their amazing lookout, explore the corn maze, ride on the tricycle track and pick your perfect pumpkin! There is plenty of room to just run and play in the fresh air!

Pumpkinfest at Hewitt’s Farm

10am – 5pm, Open Friday – Sunday until October 29

3331 Townline Road, Warminster (Severn), ON, L0K 1B0

The fun farm at Hewitt’s is one for the books! Take a wagon ride out to their pumpkin patch. Every paid admission gets 1 FREE pumpkin from the patch. Enjoy mini golf, animals, and more! Every Saturday in Octobers in their Flashlight Maze from 7-9pm, if you have the guts to do it!

Murphy’s Fall Festival

9am – 5pm, Open Thursday- Sunday until October 29

Stop in at Murphy’s Farm with the whole family this fall! They have a fun farm yard, corn trail, wagon rides, and a pumpkin patch! Their fall festival is the perfect recipe for a memorable autumn adventure. And don’t forget to stop by their market for some delicious treats on your way out.

Barrie Hill Farms

9am-6pm, Monday – Friday; 9am-5pm, Saturday & Sunday, until October 31

Pick your own adventures at Barrie Hill Farms is open until the end of October. Pick your own apples, strawberries, raspberries, sweet corn, and of course – pumpkins! The apple orchards are stunning at this time of year, with fall colours in full effect and six varieties of apples available. Enjoy a wagon ride, sunny skies, and the crisp fall air this season at Barrie Hill Farms.

Ayres Country Living

10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays

Spend the day at Ayres family farm! Interact with goats, cows, donkeys, pigs, and adorable baby bunnies that love to be held. Flower picking for $15 to fill your jar, self serve pumpkins, and admission is only $5!

Laura’s Farm Stand

10am-7pm, Thursday – Monday until October 31

By far one of the best places for a fall festive family photo! But Laura’s farm stand also has a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and farm market all in one place! The sunflower trail is also in full bloom!

Halloween & Harvest Village at Drysdale’s Tree Farm

10am – 4pm Saturdays & Sundays from October 7 – October 31

Aboard the haunted wagon ride, enjoy obstacle course and lawn games, train rides, children’s zip line, pumpkin picking, bonfire and marshmallow roasting, sand mountain, magician and more! Dogs are welcome on leash too! And if you’re 13+, head out for one of their Saturday night events (starting at 7pm) for a real thrill.
